Mister Kabab never looked this good

While scouring for possible options for my graduation dinner, people kept joking that the best place to eat in Quezon City would be Mister Kabab. I’ve never eaten there; all I knew about it was it was the place to go to for drunken munchies. And that it was ridiculously cheap for such great grub.

I understand that Mister Kabab holds a special place in the hearts of many (heck, it was even featured in Time was one of the musts if you’re spending just one night in Manila).

Go to 168 for soft bread

168 Mall is a treasure trove of great buys -that is, given a discerning eye. While most shoppers walk away with clothes, shoes and random knickknacks (like Rubik’s cube keychains), those whose grumbling stomachs lead them to scour the food court should head over to Chopsticks Spoon… and Xin Yi Long Cake.

Like any other bakeshop, Xin Yi Long Cake sells bread, loaves, rolls and cake (that can be made to order). The salesladies kept mum about where the all the bread was baked.
